Our history starts in the “old continent” in the “ancient country” in 1990.

AGD was established in the beautiful city of Bergamo – a wealthy and artistic city that is situated on the “foot” of the Alps in the Lumbardy region, 22km from Milan.

The group was founded by Architect Gennaro De Angelis (A.G.D.) in 1990 as AGD ITALIA. Gennaro was born and raised in the United States – he graduated and completed his studies in Italy at the Polytecnique of Milan, where he specialized in both architecture and interior design.

In 1995, AGD Italia opened its architectural branch in Milan and in 1998 its interior design branch in Meda (city considered to be the center of the Italian furniture, 17km form Milan ).

In 2005 AGD Italia became AGD Europe, following projects in Spain , Greece , Netherlands and Czech Republic .

Today AGD Group partnered with Ingenieurbureau Zonneveld b.v. (a brilliant and imposing engineering, company that already operated with several distinguished architectural companies such as Sir Norman Foster and Partners, Skidmore Owings & Merill Inc. (SOM), H.O.K. International Ltd., PPKS Architects Ltd., Alvaro Siza Arquitecto LDA, Niels Torp, etc.) to design the new Dubai Landmark.
